We now have an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Case Manager and as part of our diverse team based in Sydney, you’ll help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You’ll feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

The purpose of this Case Manager role is to pro-actively and effectively manage claims, including disability management aspects of a caseload of claims within the legislation or policy and achieve compliance with the performance measures.

This will be a permanent position commencing ASAP based in the Sydney George Street office, with flexibility to work from home.

  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
  • Undertake ongoing entitlement reviews in relation to weekly payments and medical expenses
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and providing support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
  • Manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans
  • Pro-actively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve the optimum outcome of early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs
  • Experience managing claims in the workers compensation industry or personal injury environment
  • Knowledge of the Victorian workers compensation scheme, legislation and policies
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • High level of resilience and a willingness to hold complex conversations
  • A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently
  • Committed to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work
  • You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
