The Company

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Business Development Manager’s primary role is to build key relationships with government, corporate and social enterprises.

Re.Group are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to spearhead their continued growth in VIC. With a focus including securing inputs for new facilities currently under development, a key aspect of the role will be to build and maintain partner relationships with key stakeholders within local and state government. More than 4 million Australians already rely on Re.Group to process their household recyclables or compost their food and garden organics. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for the right individual who can hit the ground running with an extensive network of contacts and strong recycling industry experience, and help to continue driving the phenomenal growth of their innovative company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by maintaining strong relations, and creating commercial opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within a corporate network
  • Identify new target markets and pursue new business opportunities
  • Use your existing connections to increase brand awareness and create business opportunities
  • Be customer focused, with the view to build and maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Meet growth targets by identifying, establishing and maintaining client relationships

About You
With a commitment to corporate and environmental responsibility, you will have tremendous networking skills in government and/or sustainability. You will have an excellent existing network and a high level of influencing skills. Simply put, you understand Victoria – across both metropolitan and regional regions.
You are a self-starter who is naturally passionate about ‘doing the right thing’, and your confident demeanour is evident upon meeting you. With extensive industry experience you will take ownership of this role and the opportunity it presents. Your superior communication skills will assist in creating and securing business opportunities with key stakeholders at all levels. With your strong industry knowledge and awareness of the government landscape, you will leverage your established network to ensure that you flourish in this role.
