UNSW is looking for Senior Business Consultant.
Why your role matters
As the Senior Business Consultant, you will primarily be responsible for both the development and operational support (BAU) of the Curriculum and Scheduling systems. As such you will take day-to-day responsibility for working closely with business and technical stakeholders to maximise the value and return on investment of responsible information management systems.
Who You Are
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience
- Proven extensive experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst with a practical understanding of modern project management methodologies is highly advantageous
- A high degree of awareness in domain area processes and information management systems is essential
- Demonstrated ability to provide creative and innovative solutions to problems, analyse and improve systems and processes, and apply quality assurance frameworks into operations to deliver continuous improvement
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
- A demonstrated high level of attention to detail, including in the development, interpretation and application of policy and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and deliver quality work against competing priorities and demands
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives, and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines
- Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
