About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team delivering tax reform projects within a key NSW Government Department.Business Analyst reviews and analyses the organisations business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements and to align solutions with business requirements, organisational strategies and plans.
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Facilitate workshops with large groups of stakeholders.
- Work with business owners and SME's to understand and build detailed process maps and business requirements documents.
- Partner with stakeholder to undertake projects and corporate initiatives to ensure requirements and standards are met and best practice techniques are used
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to capture and clearly document new processes, requirements and project artifacts to enable effective delivery and enhanced way of working.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to undertake end to end system and business process reviews to recommend improvement solutions.
- Drive the analysis and collection of information including investigating issues and to create viable recommendations for service improvements that align with business strategy and user needs
- Gather, analyse and translate business data to meaningful insights to support informed decision making to improve the effectiveness of processes and programs
- Have working understanding and experience of the Requirements Lifecycle Management.
- Provide accurate advice about technical issues and solutions, using plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions.
- Certification in a contemporary Business Analyst knowledge framework IIBA BABOK is desirable.
