As a Senior Business Analyst you will work on an enterprise EDW integration program for the The Reserve Bank of Australia. Ultimately this application will be helping the Bank’s economists to transform their data analytics practices to realise enormous value by building a solution that integrates with market leading data science and analytical tools.
As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a crucial part of the enterprise EDW migration project, working in collaboration with a Scrum team, and internal and external stakeholders. Overall, you will elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems to deliver an enhanced reporting and analytics platform for data collected from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). From your detailed analysis you will identify problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards.
Your background
You will be highly proficient in the following:

• Advanced understanding of business analysis domain and knowledge of tools, methods and communication techniques to extract, develop, validate and document business requirements in an agile format.
• Ability to facilitate workshops or meetings with business and technical stakeholders and external parties at various levels.
• Experience in business requirements elicitation for data driven projects and solutions.
• Extensive experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence analysis and requirements gathering
• Strong SQL experience, data profiling and analysis
• R- code knowledge (optional but beneficial)
• PowerBI or Data Visualisation experience
• Understanding of data management frameworks and modelling techniques
• Experience in a Scrum delivery environment.

Your Team
As part of the broader Information Technology Department you will be part of a collaborative team of Business Analysts actively working across technical programs and projects responsible to the Corporate Services Group to transform and develop the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.
