To continue our success, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager. Reporting to a Marketing Manager, your will be responsible for locally developing, managing and implementing all aspects of the marketing mix for the Sunbites, Nobbys and Future Brands including strategy, communications and innovation. With the Marketing Manager also managing other brands, this role requires significant autonomy and provides a unique opportunity to own the end -to -end process for all brands including strategy, innovation and execution, all of which is developed locally.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive brand growth
- Identify key brand insights and growth strategies using a variety of data sources.
- Develop marketing plans for a portfolio of brands to deliver AOP targets and build on-going brand equity.
- Work with the broader Better For You (BFY) brand leads to develop a BFY portfolio strategy and growth plan.
- Product Innovation and Commercialisation
- Work collaboratively with R&D, insights and category as well as externally with research partners to develop local innovation pipelines that will enable incremental brand growth.
- Accountable for the full marketing mix from ideation to execution inclusive of all communication development, including new brand development opportunities.
- Work closely with all other functions (sales, category, R&D, RMM and insights) to align & optimise project delivery and provide thorough measurement and evaluation of all launches.
- Creative and Activation Development
- Development and execution of all advertising and Key Visual creation to deliver best in class creative/content that both delights consumers and drive brand growth.
- Manage the execution of all media and activation plans demonstrating strong competence in key brand performance and ROI tools including Kantar BMS, MMM and IRI/Synergy/Quantium in order to derive strong insights for optimization and continuous improvement
- Agency/ Supplier Management & OHS
- Manage relationships with key Packaging, Research Media, Creative, Social & Activation agencies to ensure projects and campaigns are delivered to the highest standards, on time and on budget and optmised for launch.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must have experience at Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager level within the FMCG or related industry.
- Be able to demonstrate ability to think strategically and analytically with a keen eye for attention to detail and strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage and execute projects.
- Have strong people management skills for the high level of interaction across functions, agencies and business units
- Demonstrate persistence and perseverance to build a voice for brands that are often de-prioritised and under ongoing retailer pressure
- Ability to leverage insight to create and deliver best in class innovation and above the line campaigns
