Your new role:
The Senior Architect/Project Leader position is a leadership role within the business, primarily you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all allocated projects, tasks, and jobs as well as representing the business with external stakeholders.
The Senior Architect/Project Leader is required to manage project requirements across all sectors ensuring seamless delivery between the architecture and interior design disciplines, and facilitating project success by possessing a holistic view across the project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure all overseen projects are on brief, on time and on-budget with satisfied project stakeholders by managing expectations with team members and other stakeholders through effective communication and project management strategies
• Scope and quote new projects for existing clients while effectively identifying and managing any project risks
• Focus on continuous improvement, ensuring project debriefs occur and learnings are captured
• Follow company career development process with team, by driving high performance, coaching and providing quality feedback
• Collaborate with the Associates and Senior Associates to strive for design excellence
• Conduct/facilitate document reviews at critical phases to ensure internal QA standards are achieved prior to issuing documents

Skills & Experience:

• Lead the delivery of projects from inception through to completion
• Fully understands the objectives, requirements and scope of architectural service
• Manage and coordinate the services of all project sub-consultants
• Determine scope of works, writes briefs for tender, reviews and evaluates tenders for selection and engagement of contractors and consultants negotiate fee variations as required
• Responsible for the internal team (resources and project hours), project timelines/deadlines and reports back to the Associate accordingly
• Reports appropriately to key project stakeholders regularly, and in a timely manner to ensure commercial viability of project; Identifies and mitigates project related risks; propose acceptable solutions to minimize these risks to ensure successful outcomes
