Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Analysis of monthly results including variance against budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Initiating process improvement within the finance team
• Maintenance and improvement of dashboard and KPI reporting
• Assisting with investment assessment, due diligence and providing recommendations when required
• Ad-hoc assistance to General Managers and the CEO / Chairman
• Maintaining group insurance policies
• Liaise with the internal Property Management Team in completing month end tasks
• Responsibility for the integrity of the financial accounting records
• Strong understanding of accounting systems

Key Requirements

• CA/CPA qualified with 5 years+ experience
• Public Practice experience including Audit is highly desirable
• Property industry knowledge is desirable but not essential
• Strong technical knowledge and financial acumen
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including financial analysis and modelling
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a team player and be prepared to assist the small team when required
