Senior Account Manager

 

Description:

Our client is a privately held company that specialises in direct mail delivery. They are comprised of marketing experts and production specialists, whose objective is to provide a high level of consistent communication to clients.

The Senior Account Manager has two direct reports and is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with large clients, while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal in assigned customer accounts.

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Retains and grows the business in terms of volume, sales and profitability through proactive management of large client accounts;
  • Sells new or additional products or services to current clients;
  • Identifies revenue opportunities within existing client accounts and theircommunity through communications, programs and other activities as needed, collaborating with marketing, community management, business development and support;
  • Develops client account plans by leading the business/client planning process which identifies relevant client needs, prioritises initiatives and establishes a clear action plan for success;
  • Manages client satisfaction and service delivery by anticipating potential service issues;
  • Supervises and supports accounts managers and representatives to ensure client satisfaction;
  • Collaborates with the Business Development team during the customer implementation phase to ensure smooth client transition;
  • Works closely with Finance on billing set up and invoicing;
  • Reports on sales results on a regular basis and suggests improvements.
