Senior Account Executive

The purpose of this role is to eventually manage your own portfolio of construction clients whilst supporting senior members of the team on more complex accounts; taking a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery.

Working with the Client Manager your key accountabilities include:
 

• Assist with identifying insurable risks to your clients, designing appropriate insurance solutions and negotiating and managing the best deal in the global insurance market for them.
• Managing direct relationships with our underwriting partners and other industry contacts
• Managing direct relationship with clients
• Assist with achieving team budget, sales plan and debtors
• Providing mentoring and coaching to more junior employees
• Assist with new business tenders and development team
• Promoting the Gallagher brand within the local business community, the region and nationally
   

This is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking an experienced senior broker in a similar role, ideally with exposure to large construction accounts plus:
 

• Strong account management experience ideally with exposure to construction clients
• Strong commitment to client service excellence
• A proven track record of delivering both financial and operational results
• Highly developed communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate and professional disposition
• Sales orientated with the ability to assist in building a long term pipeline to support new business growth
