Sap Functional Manager

We are looking for our next SAP Functional Manager to join our Digital Delivery Team, reporting into our Digital Delivery Director. You will actively lead a step change in capability, delivering innovative SAP solutions by championing an agile culture of continuous improvement. You will lead a team of SAP functional experts, guide the SAP solution and functional architecture design, and improve processes, systems, and people capabilities. A day in the life
 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend system designs that meet business requirements and SAP design guidelines.
• Analyse cross-process integrations and recommend/approve solution designs that align to architecture best practices.
• Ensure process, system and data designs across the application landscape promote data integrity.
• Recommend methodology to ensure consistency, quality, and reliability in solution development.
• Provide direction and support to the workstreams whilst building teams to ensure critical design decisions are resolved.
• Direct enhancements and optimisations, leveraging future SAP upgrades and new features to avoid customisation.
  
   

What You’ll Bring
 

• Extensive SAP enterprise or solution design experience with knowledge across the full SAP landscape (experience in Order to Cash would be a major advantage).
• In-depth understanding of business processes and functional capabilities within the consumer goods industry.
• In-depth knowledge of implementing complex IT development projects.
• 10+ years’ experience in customising and enhancing solutions in one or more SAP functional areas (5+ years managing a team of SAP functional leads).
• Well-developed leadership skills.
• Expert communication and presentation skills.
