Sales Representative

 

Description:

The Sales Representative role is responsible for growing, developing, and managing relationships with prospective and existing clients within a portfolio of accounting firms. You will effectively work through the sales process to drive revenue growth, champion the range accounting content (CCH iKnow and CCH IntelliConnect) and provide an excellent client experience. This role can be based in Syndey (Macquarie Park) or Melbourne (CBD) and is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Prospect from a large territory of accounting firms, and manage a dedicated territory

  • Identify prospects and conduct research to support your consultative approach to selling,

  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your client base

  • Diagnose prospective and existing client needs and present our R&L solutions

  • Demonstrate to prospects and existing clients compelling use for our R&L solutions

  • Following up on new leads and referrals from our marketing initiatives, sales support teams and other sources

  • Preparing presentations, proposals, sales quotes, and contracts

  • Maintaining accurate notes in our CRM, Salesforce.com

  • Participating in seminars, road shows, sales conferences, and other events when required

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to support the sales process, Commercial, Marketing, Product and Consulting teams.

About you

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 2+ years’ experience

  • Experience selling digital services (required)

  • Understanding of Salesforce (or other CRMs)

  • A consultative, solutions-selling approach to sales

  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to succeed autonomously

  • An appetite to work within a huge multinational organisation with many development opportunities

  • A love for KPIs and helping customers to achieve success.
