Sales Manager

 

Description:

Owning existing and developing new commercial business relationships in WA you will sell the full range of Ampol products including bulk fuel, our Ampol card and technical services to large industry clients including those in Construction/Infrastructure, Road Transport, Agriculture and Small to Medium Enterprise.

You will develop two direct reports (team may grow in time) and as a seasoned leader you will ensure a truly customer-led operation and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction together with the consistent execution of operational excellence in a safe, reliable and environmentally sound 

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, Commercial, this is a work from home role with frequent travel requirements including overnight stays.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being an enthusiastic and energetic sales professional, you will strengthen key stakeholder relationships and create deeper value through the application of your strong understanding of contract negotiation and product knowledge
  • Using your Business Development experience to identify and target new opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline designed to deliver planned business growth
  • Selling and promoting the full range of Ampol products and services
  • Reporting and forecasting for the designated territory, including compliance with weekly reports, and administration
  • Complete monthly business reviews and represent Ampol events and meetings
