The Department

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating cross-platform advertising revenue for Digital & TV (and Radio in some markets) as part of SBS’s agency sales team to maximise SBS’s revenue opportunities.

The Role

This role is based out of South Australia’s iconic Glenside heritage listed building (along side Adelaide Studios), in field and from home.

Reporting into our Sales Manager – South Australia, within our Media Sales team, this role will see you:

  • Maintaining and growing a client portfolio within Agencies and direct businesses
  • Pro-actively maximising revenue opportunities through cross platform campaigns and sponsorships, identifying clients marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Continually developing knowledge and expertise of SBS’s products, including software expertise, business knowledge, researching tools and techniques, and the competitive environment
  • Responding to proposals, media schedules and production briefs within tight deadlines, owning and taking responsibility of a given portfolio
  • Delighting our current and prospective clients with face to face meetings and presentations
  • Building digital proposals, creating online insertion orders, checking campaign performance and supporting with general sales administration
  • Account managing campaigns and consulting with our Ad operations team to ensure optimization and campaign delivery
