The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Sales Manager this role is responsible for increasing the market share of Cabot’s Premium Woodcare Brands. . You will spend most of your time on the road servicing big box retail outlets and the like which will including metro with regular regional travel focusing on:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers, driving sales opportunities and being the face of the brand;
  • Building trust with customers by demonstrating sound brand and product knowledge along with local area market knowledge;
  • Executing strategies to create demand and achieve sales targets and KPI’s; and
  • Managing your time effectively and planning ahead to maintain your customer visits and call cycles.

What you will bring and develop

To be successful in this role you will have good retail sales experience and a natural ability to influence stakeholders. You will have experience in a relevant sales environment and a desire to progress your career with a market leader. Ideally you can demonstrate:

  • Positive, motivated mindset and the desire to continue to learn
  • Ability to effectively manage customer relationships and build a strong rapport;
  • Resilience and a distinctive ability to problem solve and individually make decisions on your feet;
  • Strong verbal and written communications and a high level of business acumen;
  • Thorough understanding of how to use data to drive business outcomes
  • Fluent IT skills with minimum of intermediate knowledge of MS Office (including Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Experience using CRM systems for analysis, reporting and planning
