Description:

The Subscription Sales Executive (SSE) for Midmarket is responsible for driving, forecasting, and closing large and strategic opportunities around Product Subscription and Premium Subscription renewals by working directly with Midmarket sales teams, partners and customers. Furthermore, you will also work with Autodesk resellers/partners to ensure end to end engagement and execution. A secondary responsibility is the close collaboration with the internal Autodesk teams; GTS (field sales team), Customer Success Specialists, Inside Sales, and other extended regional teams to ensure that you have a complete and holistic customer engagement model in place. This role also requires a dedicated and deep focus on a per account basis, so you will be required to build customer specific engagement plans from a strategic and tactical standpoint by working in collaboration with the four mentioned teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving, forecasting, and closing large and strategic opportunities around Product Subscription and Premium Subscription renewals by working directly with customers and partners
  • Work closely with the field midmarket sales team, customer success specialists, inside sales, and other extended regional teams to ensure that you have a complete and holistic customer engagement model in place
  • Travel and face to face with customers to establish a deep business understanding and engagement
  • Proactive engagement on a T-90 renewal minimum customer engagement
  • Participate in the field sales forecast call, and be accountable to provide Midmarket large opportunities forecast
  • Responsible for Renewal Sales Pipeline Reporting and responsibility in SFDC for Midmarket opportunities
  • Refuse to lose responsibility for large partial or total expirations working directly with accounts to secure ‘at risk’ renewals
  • Escalates and document competitive ‘at risk’ accounts thru SFDC R2L Escalation Dashboard
  • Serves as an escalation point for all renewal issues that impact the customer's retention and it is responsible to drive risk mitigation execution
  • Requires leadership and interaction with various internal and external teams including end user customers, Midmarket Sales teams, Autodesk partners, Customer Success Specialists, Partner Managers, Inside Sales Executives, marketing teams
  • Key to this role is being able to articulate value, inspire and sell the Autodesk Subscription offerings
  • Prepare and present; subscription business analysis, presentations, reporting, metrics to both customer and internal teams
  • Assist in the development of customer regional/country business plans, strategies, and overall value awareness
  • Leverages on internal tools and extended teams’ synergy and collaboration to collect all relevant customer data, necessary for an effective renewal engagement
  • Drive WW consistency and implementation related to key Subscription Sales initiatives
  • Provide deal-specific primary and secondary sales support, i.e. deal creation, development, presentation, negotiation and closure
  • Works closely with Resellers/Partners to ensure end to end renewals execution
  • Work directly with Autodesk direct team leadership and senior Autodesk Sales Executives to develop enhancements to and drive awareness of support services
  • In this position, it will be important to create and leverage key relationships with various Autodesk field sales, operational groups, senior executives and end customers to drive results
