Sales Engineer

It requires a solution-focused, technically-savvy, number cruncher, who will work closely with BDMs to assist in the solution design of market-leading intralogistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Provide pre-sales technical support to sales team and customer
  • Design complex solutions based on client’s motivation to reach major targets, such as; throughput, capacities, logistics, etc
  • Assist with bill of materials, quotes and tender responses
  • Attend and participate in face-to-face customer presentations and meetings
  • Perform testing and evaluation of new products & solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concepts and evaluations with customers
  • Liaise with vendor engineering teams for product updates & innovations
  • Provide technical assistance and pre-sales information to projects team
  • Assist with technical support issues throughout sales process
     

About You

  • A tertiary qualification in a technical discipline
  • Sales engineering or pre-sales experience in Industrial Automation
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer-facing presentation skills
  • Team-driven with a passion to learn and thrive in your role
