Sales Director

 

Description:

As a Sales Director APAC, you will play a pivotal role for Mews as we enter the next phase of our high-growth journey. Our ideal candidate has a successful track record within SaaS B2B technology companies. You should also have experience positioning a company as a thought-leader in their space.

In this role, you will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of strategic enterprise sales, as well as marketing plans and initiatives in the company's continuing effort to deliver outstanding customer service and financial profitability. You will be responsible for generating leads and revenue by selling Mews technology to the hotel group market. You'll be engaging, selling and closing business at all levels. The ideal candidate is a motivated, and collaborative individual who can pivot quickly in an ever-changing landscape. A natural rapport builder, this person understands the nuances of transient and group selling; can multitask like a master, and is willing to do what it takes to help the hotel move through recovery and into a sustainable future’

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively implement net new business acquisition sales strategies and tactics to maximize efforts to penetrate new enterprise accounts and achieve quota objectives
  • Interface with highly diverse set of functions and buyers at all levels within customer/prospect organizations, and channel, including C-level Executives
  • Develop an understanding of client’s business, products, services, customer profile and business objectives, competitors and sales.
  • Manage individual sales pipeline to maximize individual sales revenue while providing accurate and timely forecasts
  • Drive ambitious sales growth to meet or exceed annual targets
  • Work with Customer Success and Marketing teams to ensure consistent and qualified lead generation
  • Solve customers’ challenges by applying a combination of technology, business and professional experience

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field and/or experience
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS senior enterprise sales position experience, preferably as part of a "land-and-expand" sales model
  • Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required
  • A competent and motivational leader who displays a tenacious work ethic and ongoing will to succeed
  • Pragmatic and action-oriented attitude, ability to translate business needs and opportunities into solutions
  • Driven to attain revenue/performance growth goals by staying customer-focused with the ability to work under pressure, think quickly and demonstrate initiative in solving problems
  • Able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment. Acts without being told what to do and brings new ideas to the company.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of networking both internally and externally fostering long-lasting relationships for the business
