Based in our Rosebery office and on the road, we offer a great opportunity for an entry-level role working with the director. If you are energetic, likable, ambitious, and love creating amazing relationships in the hospitality space where there is an abundance of free coffee and food, then this is the role for you. 

 

This role is multifaceted and sits at the intersection between Business Development, Account Management, Project Coordination, and Marketing. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining close relationships with clients, as well as being the voice of the client within the company. You will work closely with the director to ensure that projects achieve necessary milestones in a timely manner. You will ensure that the parameters and requirements of the project are communicated effectively, that information flows smoothly, and that all stakeholders are kept updated at all times.

The Role

  • Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines
  • Update customer records in the company database as required
  • Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company
  • Collaborate with the sales staff to monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time
  • Report any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Account Manager immediately
  • Acting as the first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
  • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments. 
  • Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
  • Organizing events and conferences.
  • Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients.
  • Collating and filing expenses.
  • Conducting research on behalf of the manager.
  • Organizing the manager’s personal commitments including travel or childcare.
  • Assisting in the development and distribution of marketing and promotional material
  • Helping conduct and collate findings from market research
  • Writing targeted content for websites and blogs
  • Contributing to internal reports
  • Responding to marketing queries via phone, email or social media
