Sales & Technical Trainer APAC
The Sales & Technical Trainer will be in charge to localize and deliver training programs to Maxeon installers and distributors across APAC. Maxeon training program includes a collection of learning tools like written material, instructor-led classroom training, digital learning tools, and coaching, which together form a single competency framework for driving sales and customer’s engagement.
The Main Responsibilities Will Be To
Summary Of Role
- Collaborate and coordinate activities with subject matter experts to deliver training modules (Classroom training, webinars, job aids, etc)
- Support the development of the strategy for global Sales/Technical training. Plan, organize and oversee comprehensive training program; Liaison with sales and product leaders to build robust training solutions that ensure maximum effectiveness of Sales’ efforts.
- Provide feedback against learning objectives; Assess/test to measure knowledge transfer;
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of all training, which may include: Sitting in on sales calls to monitor, review and coach employees on best practices.
- Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure learning maximum effectiveness of training program.
- Work with internal partners to analyze sales performance so that additional training can be prescribed and developed.
- Develop learning tools like written material, instructor-led classroom training, digital learning tools, videos and coaching
- Onboard new partners and distributors.
- Organize in-class trainings, including management of logistics (venue selection) and communication process
Related Experience And Educational Requirements
- Degree qualified in an Engineering or Science discipline, with sales training experience/aptitude, or qualified in Training & Development with technical experience/aptitude.
- Experience in a training role (minimum 5 years) for a technology company or in the solar industry
- Instructional Design skills and experience in developing sales and technical training courses and content
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Additional APAC languages are a plus.
- Excellent skills in the developing training content
- Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects (on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, virtual classroom, etc.)
- Knowledge of training content development tools (i.e. Articulate or other) is a plus.
- Ability to address training needs with complete courses
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both internally and with customers.
