Description:
As the Roastery and Warehouse Support, you will spend most of your time assisting the roastery and warehouse crew to keep our coffee stock, disposables and consumables at an optimum level. The Roastery and Warehouse Support will also assist our warehouse team with packing coffee and well as picking and packing wholesale and retail orders to ensure everything is dispatched on time.
We are looking for fulltime and casual positions, working Monday to Friday.
- Operate packaging machinery
- Accurately receiving incoming stock, managing relevant paperwork, label and put away utilising good stock rotation
- Assist with regular stock takes and spot checks to ensure accurate stock levels
- Maintain inventory warehouse locations in a safe, clean and organised manner
- Managing the outward-bound goods to ensure all goods are dispatched in accordance with warehouse policies and procedures
- Lift and move heavy objects – lifting aids and teams lifts to be utilised when necessary
- Follow all food safety rules and regulations
- Pick and pack orders accurately, timely and with a high attention to detail
- Possible expand into some local delivery duties one or two days per week
- Must be a fast learner with new systems and be able to follow specific processes accurately
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work unsupervised
- Self-motivated and team goal oriented
- Can do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential
- Basic knowledge or understanding of warehouse safety procedures (will be trained)
- Current forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- A current drivers’ licence
- Fit and healthy with a love for coffee
