Revenue Accountant

Description:

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Partnerships, you will have a passion for creating, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Your main objective is to find new membership and sponsorship opportunities for the organisation.

This role is being offered on a flexible 20 hours per week and working entirely from the comfort of your home. However you MUST be based in Perth, WA as you will be required to be on the ground, speaking and meeting with people to form new business relationships.

You will be comfortable meeting with Senior Executives across a variety of industries from start-up companies all the way to large multinational organisations.

Responsibilities:

• Being the brand ambassador in WA, your primary purpose will be brand exposure through your current and emerging personal and professional networks.
• Attend additional networking events and associated opportunities with a view to building and expanding your professional network.
• Approaching new and prospective members through various channels, such as LinkedIn and cold calling, following up any potential leads procured during the general course of business.
• Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current members and sponsors while identifying new prospects, set up of meetings, general follow up and engagement with chamber events and opportunities
• Ongoing catch-up meetings with members and sponsors to ensure we are keeping them engaged and provided them adequate levels of support and opportunities
• Identify new sponsors for upcoming events
• Manage the membership database, oversee the customer journey to ensure existing and new members are satisfied, and update the information for prospective members.
