Our client Samsung is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. With expansion to their business, we have now an opportunity for a Retail Execution and Compliance Manager to join the team.

About the role:
This role’s responsibility is to help drive and deliver the relevant in store experience across all channels that drives customer engagement, evaluation and conversion (sell out). As a custodian for retail execution and compliance, they will work closely with the relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure that set GTM plans and projects are delivered on time and within budget so that our business objectives are achieved. This role will also be the go to person for retail fixture and display compliance, ensuring our products are ‘always on’ to support customer interaction and that our brand is always represented at its best in retail.

There will be 4 key functions of this role:

 

  • Go To Market Execution: Responsible for executing the overarching launch plan created by the GTM team for product launches in MX, ensuring they are executed to plan, on time, in full and to the agreed metrics. Working with internal/external stakeholders to ensure actions/deliverables are achieved on time, so that we can deliver the best customer experience at each phase of the launch. Ensure the business/channel partners receive visibility with regards to execution completions and compliance, ensuring all learnings are documented and actioned in time for the next launch.
  • Training & Communications: Responsible for building and defining the retail picture of success for in store planograming and merchandising. Managing an external (agency) and/or internal (field team) to ensure teams are fully trained on VM merchandising guidelines, security installations/troubleshooting, planogram guidelines, accessory guidelines and fixture know how’s so that customers are always the focus when it comes to the best consistent in store experience. Owning the management and updating of the Master Store List.
  • Always On Compliance: Responsible for managing key stakeholders to ensure that there are solid plans in place for an “always on” program, whether it be through an agency (fixture maintenance) or through our internal Field and Tech team. This is to ensure that we provide customers the best experience while shopping in retail and that issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Special Projects: Overall responsibility for the rollout of new projects in retail including fixture installations, fixture removals or fixture updates. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring rollouts are completed as per schedule and all stakeholders are kept up to date with completion reports. Be the go to person for anything related to retail installation projects.

About you:

  • Minimum +8 years professional experience on field marketing/merchandising with a proven track record in project management and retail planning/executions
  • Being a team player and leader is essential, as you will have one direct report.
  • Degree in Marketing or a Business discipline
