Great opportunity for a passionate, customer service professional with a love of quality food and wine to work at a stunning Hotel, just an hour from Melbourne.
- Exciting key role, work in partnership with a senior management team to creatively provide interactive service and genuine hospitality to all guests.
- Coordinate the team in our Restaurant, Cellar Door, Wedding and Event venues
- Supervise and coordinate all shifts across a 7day roster including weekends
- Ensuring superior restaurant and dining service is provided to all guests
- Maximise revenue opportunities and maintain cost control
- Curate seasonal beverage lists
- Train and develop a dynamic food and beverage team
- Experience in a similar role with a restaurant or banquet background
- A passion for good quality food and wine
- Availability to work a variety of shifts
- A strong guest focus with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Energetic and driven, able to motivate and lead a team to achieve desired outcome
- Flexible and reliable
- Hands on! Lead by example and have your finger on the pulse.
- Able to see the 'bigger picture' whilst attending to day to day needs of the department/hotel.
- Have a strong sense of urgency to get things done quickly and works well under pressure
- A strong understanding of financials and how to get results through working smarter rather than harder
