Description of duties: The position will include consultation with clients to assess their goals and recommend treatments that are likely to be successful. In addition, there will be internal and external referrals for treatments in the centre.

The clinician/therapist will maintain up to date training and certification for all equipment. Any training will be provided by the employer or a certified training organization and be paid for by the employer. Previous experience with cosmetic injections, laser use and current QLD radiation licence are highly regarded.

The therapist will perform adequate risk stratification to exclude contraindications, and complete informed consent for each patient prior to each procedure.

The therapist will conduct assessments in accordance with the dermatological guidelines of the employer and practice within their clinical scope. Support and education will be provided by the employer to address any lack of clinical knowledge.

Indemnity insurance will be provided by the centre. This clause does not prevent employees from obtaining their own personal indemnity insurance and the employer encourages therapists to practice within their skillset as well as seek out appropriate insurance.
