Registered Nurse

Description:

As the onsite Registered Nurse, you will report to and work closely with the Operational Manager and Wellbeing Manager monitoring the health and safety of 170 staff. Your responsibilities will include arranging and conducting pre-employment medicals, administering vaccinations and blood tests, coordinating injury prevention and injury management plans, providing emergency first aid to staff or visitors, and developing Return to Work plans.

Responsibilities:
 

• Provide first-aid and workplace health services to staff or visitors.
• Administer vaccinations and blood tests.
• Create and monitor Recovery and Return to Work plans.
• Lodge compensation claims on behalf of staff.
• Conduct pre-employment medicals and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
• Develop early intervention strategies to prevent musculoskeletal and repetitive injuries.
• Work with the WHS Manager and the Wellbeing Manager to create improvement recommendations and better practice operations.
   

Skills and Experience:
 

• Qualification in Nursing (Enrolled or Registered Nursing). Current AHPRA registration.
• Return-to-Work Certificate
• Experience in injury management, claims management and rehabilitation. (Beneficial)
• Clinical skills in Nursing services.
