Registered Nurse

Description:

NBH's ICU has 20 beds. It is a general Intensive Care Unit catering for the needs of the area with key specialities including cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, general surgery as well complex medical cases. We also provide specialist care for patients admitted through the hospitals busy emergency department, and play a key role in the hospital’s Clinical Emergency Response team.

We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic experienced ICU nurses to provide expert nursing care to complex patients. You will be a pro-active team player, with demonstrated ability and desire to be part of a dynamic work force, mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement. Progression to Clinical Nurse Specialist, and support through a structured career pathway will be offered to a suitable candidate.

To be successful:

Essential Requirements

• Registration with AHPRA as a registered nurse.
• Minimum 4 years post graduate experience in a local ICU

Desirable

• Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing
