AMI Expeditionary Healthcare is a novel healthcare support organization. Since our inception, we have delivered over 5,000 medical personnel and countless healthcare solutions to over 70 clinical and hospital settings on four continents. AMI is fast-growing providing COVID response to domestic and remote areas. We are seeking dedicated health care professionals as independent contractors to support our commitment to saving lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Help prepare syringes with the COVID-19 vaccine for immunisers to administer to patients.
- Help monitor patients after they receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Follow proper protocol regarding vaccination procedures and PPE.
- Assist with handing out and collecting patient information forms.
- Related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s nursing degree
- Must have completed mandatory government Covid-19 Vaccination Online Training Program (6 modules/clinical & nonclinical)
- Active certifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (desirable)
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Must be able to lift-up to 23 kilograms
- AHPRA Registered
- Must be Australian based or have an active Australian Passport
- Team player
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- To be eligible for employment in this role you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia. If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
