About The Facility

The Maitland Hospital is part of the Lower Hunter Sector of Hunter New England Health. Maitland Hospital provides a range of comprehensive services across medical, surgical, mental health, dental, renal, maternity and child services, including one of the busiest emergency departments in the country. Work has commenced on the transition to the New Maitland Hospital expected early next year. Our new hospital will further increase services and exciting opportunities.
