A bout The role
As Regional Manager - Northern NSW is responsible for developing and delivering on Youth Insearch’s growth across New England and Mid-North Coast region.

Regional Managers at Youth Insearch play an integral leadership role in the safe and effective delivery, growth and sustainability of Youth Insearch programs across our national footprint.

Using strong community and business development skills, the Regional Manager is responsible for securing funding through High Schools, Primary Health Networks, and other Community based funding options to expand and deliver our Place Based Model (case management, weekend workshops and support groups) across their region.

You will work with a team of Regional Managers who operate across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

The Regional Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Strategic planning for the region in line with Youth Insearch organisational strategy
  • Business development and Partnerships looking at growth, sustainability for Youth Insearch models across the region, and partnerships to optimise service delivery for your teams in mid north coast NSW
  • Implementation of new services into the region as funding is secured by this role
  • Direct supervision of 5 staff - Team Leader Social Workers and indirect supervision of Social Workers, Peer Workers and Volunteers across the region where service delivery is funded.
  • Service delivery of Youth Insearch programs with adherence to practice quality and operational KPIs, including Case Management, Weekend Workshops and Weekly Support groups.
  • Regional leadership ensure that best-practice service delivery is provided, in collaboration with General Manger Program Operations and General Manager Clinical Governance and Performance.

Key Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following attributes as a minimum.
 

  • BA or Masters of Social Work with 3+ years’ experience in Social Work with experience in tendering, business development, fundraising and/or partnership development roles in a similar role
  • Understanding of the community services sector and fee for service models
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing on business development pipelines across new regions, securing $1.5M+ p.a. in new business revenue
  • Superior communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
  • Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously across your role, collaborating closely with internal subject matter experts in the execution of your role i.e. tender proposals, MOUs
  • Experience in conducting stakeholder consultation to inform program design & program logic experience would be highly regarded.
  • Experience in the use of Case Record Management system, salesforce would be highly desirable.

  • Unrestricted and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Northern NSW
