Regional Hse Manager

 

Description:

Join a leading automotive retail group in Australia as a Regional HSE Manager. This role will have you partnering with operations on WHSE matters, ensuring the effective application of HSE management policy, standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead regional HSE programs to meet legal requirements and business strategic goals.
  • Provide expert advice on workplace health, safety, and environment.
  • Implement risk assessments and controls for effective governance.
  • Support HR and sites with IM/RTW procedures.
  • Conduct investigations and audits to improve controls.
  • Identify and address HSE training needs.
     

Requirements:
 

  • Degree or relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive, manufacturing/production, retail, and service.
  • Strong communication and influence skills.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing/Production, Retail and Service, High Demand/Reliability Industries, Automotive (plus).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Tap Root or ICAM, ISO45001/ISO9001 Lead Auditor, Prosci, PMBok, Coaching/Training).
