Regional Commercial Operations Lead

 

Description:

Aimsun is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking team member for a role split between commercial operations, office administration and finance assistance, assisting the Managing Director as needed.

Aimsun’s ANZ team is small but highly motivated and deals with large contracts and clients, particularly in government. You’ll be the primary contact for customers and business support throughout Australia and New Zealand, reporting to both the Commercial Operations Manager at Aimsun’s head office in Barcelona and also the Aimsun Pty Managing Director in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

The roles and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Commercial Operations

  • Cover initial customer contact and general enquiries for Australia and New Zealand
  • Provide the first line of sales information, providing descriptions of our services, prices and discounts
  • Support customers in finding the best match for their needs
  • Process orders and transactions, issuing accurate offers and invoices using standard accounting software
  • Resolve issues and provide basic troubleshooting for license use and maintenance
  • Collaborate efficiently with other teams as necessary, particularly Business Development, Finance and Tech Support
  • Record all activity on Salesforce CRM platform, and maintain up to date records
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Provide proactive customer outreach, for example, contacting customers before their subscription expires to promote a renewal or upgrade

Office Management

  • Manage day-to-day office operations
  • Source and liaise with vendors and suppliers
  • Organise local commercial events and teambuilding
  • Maintain business operational requirements, insurance etc.
  • Oversee workplace Health & Safety
  • Offer general administrative support to the team

Finance assistance

  • Assist with annual financial audit
  • Provide the day-to-day efforts needed to record and assess basic accounting data
  • Manage all accounts payable/receivable
  • Aged receivables management
  • Manage team expenses
  • Manage internal invoicing
  • Prepare payments for authorisation
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team at Aimsun group headquarters

Other Tasks

Support the delivery and maintenance of business policies that might include:

  • Quality Management
  • Business transformation initiatives
  • System and process improvements
