About the role

Due to internal secondments, we have an exciting opportunity within the Asset Information Team for a Reference Data Specialist.

Reporting to the Asset Information Manager you will play a key role as a member of the Asset Information Team, and part of the Engineering & Technical Support Group. You will work with individuals across the organisation to enable effective asset and operations information management. You will provide support for organisation wide consumers of asset and operations data and business applications. Key accountabilities include:

• Creation and maintenance of reference data throughout the data management lifecycle including asset hierarchies, asset codes, cadastres etc.
• Achieving Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business application service management. Applications include Maximo, GIS solution and the Electronic Drawings Management System (EDMS)
• Working with internal Business areas to understand their business requirements, and ensure strategic alignment in regards to implementation and usage of reference data
• Identifying and resolving user access issues related to Service management applications
• Working closely with various business areas, Project Managers and Digital teams to schedule product and express releases, and support the development and implementation of reference data initiatives deliverables.
• Implementation and maintenance of asset data standards in collaboration with the Asset Data Governance Team
• Assurance of training and knowledge retention through effective documentation for Asset Information Team
• Provides support for auditing, monitoring, and measuring data quality in collaboration with Asset Information Data Quality team.
