Your new role

Join this dynamic Recruitment team and be part of a fast-paced, high-volume work environment where no two days are the same. As a Recruitment Officer, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the team to deliver exceptional service to the Agency. As a key player, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of internal and external recruitment, from advertising job openings to creating employment offers and on-boarding new team members. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Administer internal and external recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, processing selection outcomes and on-boarding.
  • Utilise eRecruit or similar systems.
  • Provide a consultative and clear approach to recruitment, offering advice where necessary.
  • Assist with recruitment and secondment activities.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

To be eligible for this position you will need to be an Australian Citizen and an APS recruitment and on-boarding experience.

Candidates who are permanently employed in the APS are encouraged to apply as a section 26,
or labour hire. Also, candidates who are currently working in a private sector with strong transferable skills, are highly encouraged to apply.
