About The Role

We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our People Services team that provides Australia wide support to the business relating to Human Resources systems, policies and procedures across the areas of recruitment and mobilisation, training and employee lifecycle. This is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate end to end recruitment of all support level positions (Trainees, Administrators, Document Controllers, Graduates etc.) across the company through direct recruitment methods and/or managing Registered Training Organisation (RTO) applications and sign up initiative for Traineeships.

Work With Our Hiring Managers, Staff Resourcing, Projects, And People Team To Drive Effective Recruitment And Onboarding Of All New Support Level Employees, Including

  • Provide general best practice Recruitment advice to hiring managers and staff across offices and projects for all support level roles.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand requirements and develop job briefs, post adverts, source, interview and determine candidate suitability.
  • Liaise with RTO to source and place trainees as required.
  • Manage government incentives associated to Traineeship contract.
  • Support our Diversity & Inclusion agenda through developing candidate pools for support level roles and promoting candidates to hiring managers.
  • Work with project and resourcing teams to ascertain and execute employee redeployments, transfers, relocations and demobilisations in line with business requirements and approved mobilisation guidelines
  • Understanding and administering Project Conditions to ensure correct allowances and entitlements are applied 

About You

  • At least 5 years' experience in a HR Administration position ideally working within the engineering, rail or construction industries.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish good rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong work ethic, a customer focused attitude and enthusiasm to learn new skills and build a career.
  • Experience using a HR Management database is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills and be motivated to plan and meet agreed priorities and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in documents/ systems.
  • A customer focused attitude with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
