Ahrens Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality & Compliance Manager to join the team. As the Quality & Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, overseeing compliance with relevant regulations, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Establish and monitor quality control processes, including inspection procedures, testing protocols, and quality assurance measures.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory requirements, industry standards, and codes of practice to ensure compliance across all operations.
- Develop and update compliance policies, procedures, and documentation to align with changing regulations and industry guidelines.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, conduct inspections, and manage compliance reporting and documentation.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the identification and implementation of process enhancements and best practices.
- Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to ensure employees and contractors are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality and compliance risks that may impact operations, projects, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Quality & Compliance Manager or a similar role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and industry standards (ISO, OHSAS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
