Property Services Manager

Description:

Due to growth in business we now have an opening for a Property Services Manager at a new premium 50,000 sqm commercial building precinct located in Melbourne’s CBD.

Reporting directly into the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the on-going operation and compliance of the property as well as being directly accountable for all project and development works, budgets both operational and of a capital nature and strategic asset planning related to Engineering and Operations.

Your accountabilities will be around Sustainability, Risk Management, Contract Management, Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Budgets, Asset Planning, Tenancy Fit-outs and Staff Management

You'll also assist with preparing annual property operations & capital works budgets as well as the monitoring and updating of budgets on a quarterly basis.

You’ll have proven operational experience in Engineering and Facilities Management in a similar commercial environment and critical to this role is your experience in, and an understanding of sustainability & NABERS. It is preferred that you have experience in working in new assets and managing to practical completion

Excellent communication skills are important– both written and spoken - and we’ll expect you to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines. Most importantly, you’ll want to work as part of a diverse, supportive and talented team.

You will possess strong technical knowledge that was gained through a trade or engineering background. Also important, is strong PC literacy, a ‘hands-on’ work approach and willingness to learn and the capacity to lead, train and develop a small team.
