Role Description
This RFQ is seeking contractor support for Project Support Officer roles in support of a number of DEF100 Capability Elements. If all DEF100 positions are filled and there are suitable candidates still available, this RFQ may be used by the GEOINT Capability Delivery Program and other Branches within AGO to fill relevant vacancies.
The Project Support Officer will work under general direction to assist several team leads in the delivery of the Project. Duties will include assisting with project procurement activities, recordkeeping, organising and minuting meetings and general administrative tasks. The incumbent will be required to function within broad guidelines and be willing to identify solutions to common administrative problems. They will need to be a self-starter and have an ability to work within strict timeframes.
The role will require project support skills and a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel.
The program of work has multiple projects which range in size. The successful candidate may be required to work across several of these.
Major Responsibilities:

1. With guidance from team leads, develop procurement documentation in accordance with Defence procurement rules.
2. Maintain project Risk and Issue Registers; including regular reviews and updates; advising/assisting in execution treatment plans; and facilitating project risk/issue workshops
3. Provide support to the management of the project including schedule maintenance, monthly reporting, and resource management
4. Contribute to and edit administrative or technical documents including establishing standard operating procedures for common tasks.
5. Manage priorities and seek guidance on relative priorities where necessary.
6. Provide general administrative support including management of project record keeping requirements and systems; secretariat support for project meetings and forums and other communications
7. Manage team action items to ensure objectives and processes are met.
8. Work cohesively with other project team staff in a program setting to support the project deliverables and team objectives.
