Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with a local Government organization located in Hamilton, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint Project Officer on 3 months short term contract role with a view of extension. This will be a hybrid role working from home and office location.

Your new role
Reporting to Digital Transformation Coordinator in Business Systems and Transformation Division. In this role, you’ll be responsible will lead the transition from Content Manager to Sharepoint (EDRMS project). You will act as Communication point between internal departments and Business Systems & Transformation, facilitating a smooth transition for the EDRMS project.

Key accountabilities:

• Facilitate effective two-way relationships between business units and Business Systems & Transformation
• Consult internally to develop the Teams structure as defined by the Information Architecture design to ensure successful migration of data.
• Consult and liaise with external change management consultants with the goal of scheduling training and to coordinate the rollout of training materials
• Work closely with technical experts and developers to ensure technical implementation supports the functional objectives and requirements of the business, while maintaining alignment to Council’s ICT Strategy.
• Facilitate workshops and ongoing training with key internal and external stakeholders as directed.
• Assisting other Business Systems team members in day to day or project related tasks as directed by Coordinator Digital Transformation.
• Facilitate the implementation of Council’s core systems including Payroll, HR, Finance, Planning and other components.
• Other duties as and when required
