Description:
We are looking for a Finance Professional to join a new Project Team until March 2022, based onsite with our National Telecoms Client.
Join our biggest client - who are a key player in the telecoms industry - on site in their CBD Office, where you'll lead a team of 3, whilst project managing the finance stream of this new project, ensuring JLL is aligned to our client's project objectives.
Your role will include-
- Support JLL Technologies / BI team with development of reporting solutions including monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting
- Taking lead on development of project charter
- Assist with UAT process providing feedback on outcome of testing and any modifications required
- Support Deloitte team’s requirements as it pertains to JLL i.e. CoStar and Portfolio data and reporting
- Oversee the setup of new IFRS JDE GL Accounts for the Project
- Map out Monthly IFRS16 Reporting Requirements
- Ensure client disclosure requirements are supported
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for-
- 5+ years experience in an accounting / reporting / IT environment
- Some technical accounting knowledge preferably with good working knowledge of IFRS16
- Previous project management experience preferred
- Analytical and logic / process focused
- Strong problem solving and compliance skills
- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience establishing strong control environments
- Very good MS Excel skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity & complex problems.
- Experience in IT and accounting or finance functions.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight deadlines.
- Degree or equivalent in Commerce/Accounting, and/or Business/Applied IT, and/or project management and/or a general degree with PM/technology focus. CPA/CA qualifications would be highly advantageous
