Description:
As the Project Manager you will lead the Program Management Office (PMO) workstream for the Australia Fulfillment Network Program. We are looking for a business professional who is experienced with project management for distribution center deployments, bringing knowledge and proven success in applying the techniques of planning, directing, and executing projects using Lean and change management methodologies.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
You Will Be Responsible For The Following
- Accountable for all project management artifacts including but not limited to project master plans/timelines, scoping documents, program methodology, RACIs, budgets, weekly status updates, and the weekly team meeting agenda
- Lead all weekly project team meetings with third party logistics partner, local operations team, and global/geography teams
- Co-ordinate across all work streams and interfaces between them
- Track & maintain timeline management including the detailed project plan, program 100k plan, and individual workstream timelines
- Coordinate with Local and Geography Finance teams on budget tracking, annual operating plan and budget creation, and contractual adherence
- Create visibility and track Risk Management issues, Change Control Requests, Meeting Action Items/Issues, and Critical Milestones
- Partner with Procurement and Legal teams to support the negotiation of any 3rd party contracts to ensure all contractual obligations are met & service parameters are realized
- Lead communication execution, prepare executive communications (e.g. SteerCo deck preparation and Leadership updates), and weekly status reporting
- Additional ad hoc supply chain analytics or program activities not stated above
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will gain a wide variety of exposure in this role by partnering with cross functional teams in Nike Pacific, the Asia Pacific - Latin America (APLA) Geography, and Global. You will be critical in managing cross functional teams to plan, track, and deliver the program. This role will report to the Program Director of the Australia Fulfillment Network Program. WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- Proficiency with Project Management tools (Wrike preferred) and comfort with the use of technology
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills, including high-profile, executive communications
- Proven ability to navigate and get things done within a large and complex organization. Demonstrated experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment. Proven ability to lead and influence others, at multiple levels of the organization, from entry-level employees to executives
- Experience acting as an internal consultant on transition management strategy/deliverables for regional or global strategic change initiatives
- Experience planning, facilitating and leading large cross-functional workshops is preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to create trust among those with diverse personal styles.
- Available to work flexible schedule when needed to accommodate multiple time zones
- Bachelor's or advanced degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience - supply chain/operations and/or project management experience preferred.
- Experience with Distribution Center (DC) transitions is preferred
- Warehouse Management System knowledge preferred, adept with Supply Chain systems and technology. SAP and Manhattan knowledge preferable
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma or other relevant professional certifications preferred
