Description:
Within the Australian market the JLL Project & Development Services team provide development management, project planning, feasibility, procurement, design and construction management services to a premium client base across the commercial, retail, hotel, government, Defence and industrial property sectors.
As a result of ongoing work we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to work as part of a national team, to ensure that JLL will successfully deliver on all Defence projects
What This Job Involves
As Project Manager, you will accept total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of smaller projects from initial establishment to handover & project closure.
The role requires coordinating thought & leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

You'll have superior communication skills, with the ability to build & foster successful relationships with your clients & stakeholders. We'll expect you also to have great time management and organizational skills and have the capacity to deliver multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Both written and spoken communication skills are vital and, of course, you'll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners
Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in Building & Construction, Engineering or a related discipline.
Prior experience in Defence related infrastructure projects would be advantageous but not essential. An ability to travel away from home locations will be necessary to effectively manage the projects across the Defence Estate.
It is a requirement that candidates are Australian Citizens and able to get an appropriate baseline security clearance.
