Due to a growing pipeline of awarded projects, Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our growing Minerals team in Perth, WA.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Projects the Project Manager will ensure the professional and safe delivery of assigned projects to ensure accordance with the Company, Client and industry requirements.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Manage the various work procedures, practices, and plans of the assigned project to ensure deliverables are achieved.
- Ensure all project activities are conducted in a manner that highly prioritises safety, environment, community and industrial relations.
- Communicate effectively with the client on matters that affect the project goals.
- Ensure overall schedules, budgets and target deliverables are achieved to a consistently high standard.
- Manage the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.
- Manage all members of the project team in compliance with applicable project requirements and current industry work codes and standards.
- Provide project support and input to proposals, customer presentations, and other marketing /business development activities as required.
What You Will Bring
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
- 15+ post graduate experience in Mineral Processing or related industries, ideally with strong experience in an EPCM environment.
- Strong technical background with a broad multi-disciplinary base.
- Demonstrated ability to direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams, consultants and contractors to deliver critical project objectives.
- Strong understanding and awareness of project implementation, constructability, OH&S, environmental, community and industrial relations issues.
- The ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
- Intuitive leader with the ability to initiate, lead and manage change in a complex environment.
