JLL has an opportunity for an astute Assistant Project Manager to join our PDS business line and play a key role in managing and delivering capital works projects. We are responding to the requirements of Defence to assist in stimulating the economy during the current environment. The result of which will see an increase in projects to be delivered through the Estate Works Program over the coming years.

The role requires coordinating thought & leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

You'll have superior communication skills, with the ability to build & foster successful relationships with your clients & stakeholders. We'll expect you also to have great time management and organisational skills and have the capacity to deliver multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Both written and spoken communication skills are vital and, of course, you'll be good at building team relationships and interacting effectively with business partners. Ideally, you will be tertiary qualified in Building & Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline. You will have a minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience.

Prior experience in Defence related infrastructure projects would be advantageous but not essential. An ability to travel away from home locations will be necessary to effectively manage the projects across the Defence Estate.

It is a requirement that candidates are Australian Citizens and able to get an appropriate baseline security clearance.
