Our client, a medium sized financial services organisation, are currently seeking a Project Manager for an initial 6+ month contract on a Business Integration Stream Program.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of one or more business projects. The primary functions of the Project Manager role will be to manage the planning, monitoring, control and delivery of a project to achieve business outcomes and benefits.
The ideal candidate must:
- be comfortable to operate under the direction of another project manager who is the lead role for this stream.
- have the ability to work under tight time pressure and to facilitate engagement and decision making across a variety of business and IT stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the planning, monitoring, control and delivery of the project.
- Plan, manage and review project scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, change management, risk and procurement.
- Monitor and control project progress, including taking corrective action to ensure delivery of business outcomes and benefits within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Plan, manage, monitor and control the delivery of project work packages and products.
- Develop, manage, maintain and control project reporting and documentation.
- Manage a range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Performance of this role requires:
- Demonstrated record of successfully planning, designing and managing customer experience projects of high complexity, cost and/or value in a medium sized corporate environment. Relevant experience in financial services industry is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams in a complex project environment.
- Proven ability to lead the design and development of complex solutions with a focus on customer service experience, process reengineering, and people capability uplift and technology enablement.
- Ability to interpret business, information and technical architecture roadmaps and align to the needs of a project and program.
- Proven knowledge of and experience using recognized project management methods, tools and development methodologies, such as PRINCE2 project management method plus Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.

- Proven knowledge and understanding the function of governance structures in a medium sized corporate environment.
