Empower Energy is a leader in distributed energy storage, PV and micro-grid hardware and software solutions based in Sydney, Australia. We are seeking a high energy Project Manager to manage the full project lifecycle of our energy storage product release and drive the operational arm of the business. This is an opportunity for someone that wants to be involved in a ground floor, Greentech start-up opportunity as it begins to scale. How you will impact Empower and our business partners

Full responsibility and accountability for multiple project’s success

• Communicates project status up and out to the client/stakeholders
• Identifies and builds relationships with key stakeholders
• Defines time, processes, metrics, collaboration for success
• Develops detailed Project Management Plans and leads the project planning activities
• Is responsible for developing a realistic schedule and budget
• Maintain clear requirements through documentation and actionable scope of work for cross-functional project teams
• Controls all aspects of the project (scope, time, costs, risks, quality, etc.)
• Logs and applies lessons learned and performs project closure
• Follows ISO9001 Quality Processes

Job Requirements

This position requires an individual that exercises independent judgment, is self-motivated, a creative thinker, organized, and able to proactively lead projects to timely completion.

• Proven experience as a project manager 
• HW and SW engineering project experience, 
• Experience launching a hardware product into field trials and ramping up both manufacturing and field installs
• Proven success working with small dynamic teams
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Success managing projects with multiple key priorities and tight timelines
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Responsible for identifying and raising risks and issues
