Project Manager

Description:

As Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager, you'll be overseeing major projects from inception to completion. You will have a high degree of responsibility over the course of the project lifecycle, and will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver project outcomes efficiently and to the highest standard.

You will oversee technical design management interface, scope package of works, manage procurement and appoint subcontractors, and will play an integral role in ensuring all team members work together to meet objectives.

You will be working predominantly on fuel, energy and industrial development projects, as well as other general retail and commercial projects such as shopping centres, childcare centres, and multi-retail development projects.

You will be the go-to person for:

  • Ensuring projects are scoped, designed, built, and delivered to meet budget and quality expectations
  • Managing stakeholders - your team members, the client, subcontractors and other relevant personnel
  • Establishing strong working relationships with delivery partners to ensure relevant scopes of work are in accordance with requirements of the package of works
  • Managing all aspects of project delivery, including design management, from concept to delivery stage
  • Overseeing procurement planning and execution - RFIs, tendering, analysing, recommending, and awarding
  • Identifying and managing construction risks, ensuring safe sites and escalating issues when required
  • Maintaining regular meetings and reports to ensure projects are on track.

The skills and experience you'll bring

Are you a passionate project management professional with the motivation to deliver top-quality solutions and to motivate your team to do the same? We are looking for ambitious industry professionals who are looking to take on a new challenge and drive projects end-to-end. This company is in a period of growth, and we're on the hunt for people who want to grow in line with them in a friendly, fun, high-performing environment.

  • We are looking for professionals who have a solid understanding of project management processes, and the ability to work autonomously and manage a team. • You will need at least 2-5 years of experience as civil engineer, site engineer, project engineer, project coordinator, assistant project manager or in a similar role such as contract administrator, having worked across infrastructure, road works, utilities with exposure to design, scoping, procurement, and delivery.
