Description:
We are seeking an Experienced Project Manager on behalf of a client for a permanent, full-time position in Sydney, NSW. Our client specialise in a wide range of projects including residential, new builds, fit-outs, education and industrial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of the residential and commercial project in Sydney
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Implement best practices for risk management, quality control, and safety on the project site.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and building codes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, including junior project managers and site staff.
- Regularly report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction or Commercial projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with Sydney' local construction regulations and standards is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications preferred.
