An exciting role for a Project Manager has become available at Swinburne University of Technology within the Project Delivery, Facilities Assets and Campus Services team!

This exciting role will work to support the Associate Director by providing Project Management of projects approved within the University’s Capital Management Program. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of complex projects and budgets which will contribute to the preparation of meaningful progress reports to senior management.

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will also need to work with specialist consultants and stakeholders to provide technical reports on project timelines, providing timely updates, and many other essential tasks.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management in the construction of educational, government and/or commercial facilities
  • Sound knowledge of NCC (National Code of Construction), DDA (Disability Discrimination Act), relevant OHS legislation and AS 2124 contracts
  • Procurement experience within a project construction environment
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, which include the ability to deal with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully and confidentially
