The Department

The Engagement & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project Manager is part of SBS’s Indigenous Engagement & Partnerships team within the Corporate Affairs division. The role is responsible for community events, activities, projects, and engagement for SBS’s many diverse stakeholders, particularly for First Nations communities and audiences.

The Role

The Engagement & CSR Project Manager is a pivotal member of the Indigenous Engagement & Partnerships team. This role is responsible for overseeing significant projects with high reputational impact for SBS. The role plays an important part in planning, executing and reporting on large-scale projects, and works collaboratively across SBS.

Reporting to the Indigenous Engagement & Partnerships Manager, this role will see you:

• Manage the coordination and execution of network-wide projects.
• Leverage your people skills to get the best project outcomes.
• Work with precision and pace across a range of projects.
• Engage a diverse network of stakeholders.
• Showcase projects through detailed reporting and impact analysis.
• Create and deliver detailed post-project analysis, including to senior leadership.
• Maintain a positive attitude working in a busy team, on projects with high reputational impact for SBS.

It is a requirement of this role that incumbents are fully vaccinated with an approved Covid-19 vaccination in line with the ATAGI guidelines which include booster shots. We do however have a medical exemption process and we would be happy to discuss your application should this be applicable to you.

• Demonstrable experience managing complex, large-scale projects.
• Strong ability to positively influence stakeholders to get great project outcomes.
• Sophisticated communication and presentation skills that can be adapted to different settings.
• Excellent ability to pull together detailed post-project reports.
• Demonstrable ability to work autonomously, problem-solve, show initiative, show high attention to detail, and work at a fast-pace.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• A deep sense of care and responsibility for communities and audiences.
• Strong connections to First Nations communities.
